Riker Rhodes is a writer focused on dark fantasy and cosmic horror.

His work leans into themes of identity, psychology, and morality. He is particularly drawn to stories with many hidden layers of secrets and information, and where characters have to piece together truths about their reality on their own.

He takes inspiration from a range of sources, such as cosmic horror and wierd fiction, eastern storytelling from anime and webnovels, even high fantasy and classic literary works. You may find traces of Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, and Robert W Chambers woven throughout his work, as well as a touch of contemporary eastern fiction.

His two main pulls to writing are that of massive worlds filled with unknowble forces and deep lore, and explorations of a characters psyche and why they behave the way they do. He aims to create works that attempt to weave the two into a coherent narrative.
